Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in the US. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). The desire to become an artist was influenced by her upbringing within the New York family of artists. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant in photography. In the future, her career shifted into directing and modeling. She won her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actress. MacGraw became a global celebrity after her movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. Within just three short films, she became the top female box-office star worldwide. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw got married to three different people.
