Jill Hennessy one of Canada's most successful TV actresses was born on the 25th of November, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta. The actress was part of Law and Order with She was a part of Law and Order with Chris Noth.. Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. Her father John Hennessy was a meat salesman and sales/marketing executive which required a lot of travelling and led to numerous moves for the family. The mother, Maxine an administrator, left their family back in 1982 leaving her daughter to be partially fostered by her paternal grandmother Eleanor who lives in Kitchener Ontario. Her twin sister Jacqueline is an American magazine editor, and her brother John Paul J.P. Hennessy Jr. was born in Canada. Hennessy is from Sweden, Irish, Italian and French descent from her father's side and is mainly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage on her mother. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School where she graduated Grand River Collegiate Institute and was a busker in Toronto. Hennessy made her acting debut alongside her sister in Dead Ringers, 1988. Based on Gillian Anderson, the actress who won the role, she was nominated for the part in Dana Scully in The X-Files. She married Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. The couple have two children.
